This project was to submit poster designs for A Billion People / Adbusters Design Anarchy Occupation at Emily Carr University in Vancouver. The project was influenced by the original 1964 and republished 2000 version of the First Things First Manifesto by Ken Garland. These were my submissions for the project. Along with other designers work the posters were put up to fill any white space within the art school with the objective of encouraging more conversation amongst students and at the institutional level.
My inspiration for these came from concepts of language, privilege, information and protest as well as accountability for the level of complicity we hold as designers.
